Effective 2026-08-22
This Privacy Policy applies to the LoopCut app for iPad, together with any related services operated by Sugarfaye & Xueke (collectively, the "Application"). Sugarfaye & Xueke is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
In short: LoopCut does not collect your personal data. All video and audio processing happens locally on your device. Your media files are never uploaded to the Service Provider or to any third party.
The Application does not collect, transmit, or store personal information about you. Specifically, the Application does not:
To do its job, the Application asks for your permission to access your photo library:
The Application accesses only the items you explicitly select. Media stays on your device throughout import, editing, preview, and export. You may grant or revoke this permission at any time in the iPadOS Settings app; if you revoke it, importing and exporting will no longer work.
The Application saves your current project locally on your device so that your work is not lost when you close the app. This includes references to the media you selected and your per-segment settings, such as loop mode, playback speed, original-audio volume, and dissolve duration. This data never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the Application.
The Application offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase that permanently removes the watermark from exported videos. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The Service Provider does not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple Account credentials. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. To restore a previous purchase on a new device, the Application asks Apple to confirm your entitlement; no personal data is shared with the Service Provider in this process.
If you contact the Service Provider by email, the Service Provider will receive your email address and whatever information you include in your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry, and is retained only as long as needed for that purpose and any related follow-up.
Because the Application does not collect personal data, there is generally no personal data held by the Service Provider to access, correct, or delete. If you have sent the Service Provider an email, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of that correspondence at any time by writing to [email protected].
To remove all project data held on your device, delete the Application from your iPad.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. The Service Provider does not collect, sell, or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise your rights, contact the Service Provider at [email protected].
The Application does not transmit personal data, so no international transfer of personal data takes place through your use of it. Any support email you send is handled by the Service Provider's email provider and may be processed in a country other than your country of residence. Where applicable law requires safeguards for such transfers, the Service Provider will use appropriate mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, adequacy decisions, or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
The Service Provider may disclose information in its possession:
The Application is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the Application collects no personal data from any user, it collects none from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided the Service Provider with personal information through support correspondence, please contact [email protected] so that it can be deleted.
Because your media and project data remain on your device, their security is governed by the protections built into iPadOS, including device passcode and file-system encryption. The Service Provider applies reasonable electronic and procedural safeguards to any support correspondence it holds.
If a data breach occurs that affects personal data held by the Service Provider, the Service Provider will notify affected individuals in accordance with applicable legal requirements, including, where required, information about the nature of the breach and the steps being taken to address it.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by posting the updated Privacy Policy with a new effective date. Where required by law, the Service Provider will seek your consent to material changes before they take effect. Previous versions are available on request at [email protected].
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or about privacy while using the Application, contact the Service Provider by email at [email protected].
